The Keep Oregon Green
Association is a 503(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The
ability to maintain our wildfire prevention campaigns is greatly dependent on
generous contributions. KOG's
Board and staff are dedicated to protecting Oregon's resources from wildfire
destruction.
However, those who live or play in
the forest must take personal responsibility for wildfire prevention.
Careless behaviors cause wildfires.
Responsible behaviors
prevent wildfires
and include:
being aware of all fire restrictions
constantly attending burning debris
using power equipment safely
drowning, stirring, drowning campfires until they are DEAD out
using an ashtray when smoking
teaching children that matches and lighters are tools not toys
and
contributing
to the Keep Oregon Green Association
